According to the details of the popular website Good Returns, as of Friday afternoon, the prices of pasidi have fluctuated city-wise. In Chennai, the price of 24 carat gold was the highest at Rs.1,37,240 and continued at Rs.1,36,200 in the cities of Hyderabad, Mumbai and Bangalore. Similarly, the gold price of 22 carat 10 gram jewelery was recorded at Rs.1,25,800 in Chennai and Rs.1,24,850 in Hyderabad, Vijayawada and Bangalore.
Silver prices also registered a huge increase. In the cities of Hyderabad and Chennai, the price of a kilo of silver reached a maximum of Rs.2.60 lakh, while it traded at Rs.2.42 lakh in Mumbai and Bangalore. Gold futures (April) rose by Rs 721 to touch Rs 1,40,424. Due to the festive season and the global market conditions, the traders are predicting that the prices are likely to increase further.
