Popular Ramdev Rao Hospital in Kukatpally has taken the lead in spreading awareness about early care and lifestyle changes among the people in the wake of the rising incidence of cardiovascular diseases across the world. World Heart Day celebrations will be held tomorrow (September 29, Tuesday) under the guidance of Dr Kamalakar, Medical Director of the Hospital.Ms Lakshmi Kamalakar, eminent author and family advisor, will formally inaugurate the walkathon at the hospital premises at 6:00 am.
The walkathon will be ledby renowned cardiologist Dr. S. Pradeep Reddy himself will lead the free cardiology medical camp which will be held later to screen the patients and provide medical advice.In this camp, the most crucial heart tests like Blood Pressure (BP), Random Blood Sugar (GRBS), ECG (ECG) and 2D Echo will be conducted completely free of cost. Further, the hospital management has announced 10 per cent special concession to the patients on further medical procedures or treatments prescribed by the doctors in the camp. Dr. N.
