The issue of 22A list of prohibited lands came up for discussion in the Telangana Assembly. During the previous government, the opposition made allegations about registrations and land affairs. The government, however, disclosed the statistics related to the registrations and explained the actual situation.
In 2025, 4,90,478 documents were registered in a five-month period, while in 2026, 5,10,273 documents were registered in the same period, the minister said. It was explained that the income received by the government through registrations has also increased. Political criticism continues on this issue.
