A dispute arose between Gautami and Manjeera hostel students during the Teej program at Kukatpally JNTU hostel. The dispute turned into a brawl and the students attacked each other with sticks. The clash between the two groups created panic in the university premises.
Immediately after receiving the information, the police reached the spot and dispersed the students and brought the situation under control. KPHB police said that a case has been registered and investigation has started. Although the situation has calmed down now, it is reported that the tension between the students continues.
