Telangana Irrigation and Civil Supplies Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy mentioned the key points in the 31st Southern Regional Council (SZC) meeting held in Hyderabad. He appealed to the Center to provide special financial assistance for the management of important lifting schemes in the state and for the restoration of flood-damaged barrages.
Also, under the AP Reorganization Act, clear decisions should be taken on the issues of transfer of assets and payment of electricity dues in schedule 9 and 10. The process of merging the villages under Bhadrachalam with Telangana should be completed as soon as possible.
