The special and comprehensive revision process of the voters' list is creating a great stir in the country's politics. Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi said that there is a huge conspiracy going on behind the scenes in the election process which is the foundation of democracy. They flagged that they are doing the BJP good by eliminating millions of eligible votes, not millions. She stated that the coming out of the differences in the Election Commission was a serious issue and legal action should be taken against the Chief Election Commissioner who violated the rules. Lawyer Shailendra Mani Tripathi filed a writ petition under Article 32 in the Supreme Court on this dispute.Other Election Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi sought to declare the decisions taken by the CEC as unconstitutional without considering the 14 objections filed by them. Meanwhile, the Central Election Commission explained that all the amendments were made as per the legal provisions and all the decisions taken were unanimous.
