Joint Commissioner of Police, Traffic Shri Sunpreet Singh, IPS inspected the Ganesh immersion centers under Cyberabad Police Commissionerate. The traffic control and security arrangements undertaken for smooth and safe immersion processions were reviewed.
DCP Traffic-2 Mrs. Seshadrini Reddy, IPS, Additional DCP Traffic-2 Mr. A. Veeranna, ACP Kukatpally Traffic Division Mr. Giri Prasad participated in this program.
First, the officials inspected the arrangements at the IDL pond in Kukatpally. Traffic diversion routes, vehicular flow, barricading, parking facilities, personnel deployment areas and movement of immersion vehicles were reviewed for vehicles carrying Ganesh idols and devotees.The officials at the field level have been instructed to control the traffic so that people do not face any problems.
Later, they inspected the immersion arrangements at Suraram Kattamaisamma pond (Lingam pond) under Jeedimetla traffic division. Officials assessed the diversion routes, barricading, parking facilities and deployment of police personnel to regulate the movement of vehicles and devotees.
Later, they inspected the arrangements for immersion of Ganesh idols at Pragati Nagar Pond in KPHB and the parking facilities for devotees coming in vehicles. He directed to take measures to ensure smooth flow of traffic by effectively controlling the movement of vehicles and devotees in the vicinity of the immersion center.Joint CP Sunpreet Singh directed the concerned officials to ensure smooth flow of traffic in all key areas, effective implementation of diversion plans, barricading and parking arrangements. It is advised to deploy staff as required and coordinate with other departments.
The Cyberabad traffic police said that measures are being taken to ensure that the Ganesh immersion program is conducted in a calm and safe manner and that normal traffic is not disrupted.
