New Delhi, Progress Social media giant Meta has suffered a major setback in a United States court. A New Mexico court ruled that the Facebook and Instagram platforms are seriously affecting the mental health of young people.
The court imposed a fine of 567 million dollars, about ₹5,400 crore.
It also directed the company to put new safeguards in place for the protection of minors.
