Vinayaka Nimajjana Mahotsavam in Bhagyanagaram has reached a flag level. Thousands of idols installed across the city move towards Hussainsagar and local ponds. The historic Balapur Ganesha Shobhayatra proceeds via Chandrayanagutta, Charminar, Afzalganj, Mozanjahi Market, Abids, Bashirbagh towards Tankbund. On the other hand, a special tusker has been prepared for the immersion of the famous Khairatabad Bada Ganesha and all the arrangements have been completed by removing the obstacles on the way. The police commissioner said that traffic restrictions will be in force in the city from 6 am on Friday to Saturday morning in view of Shobhayatra. Normal vehicular traffic has been banned on the main procession routes and diverted to alternative routes.Heavy goods vehicles were diverted through the outer ring road. Officials appealed to people and devotees to cooperate with the traffic police.
