The Government has undertaken this program to recognize and award individuals and organizations who are working exceptionally hard for the development of Telangana tourism sector.
Awards will be selected in the categories of travel agents, tour operators, hotels, resorts, restaurants, tourism guides, rural tourism projects, medical tourism, amusement parks, innovative tourism projects, social media, youth tourism clubs etc.
Factors such as performance, cleanliness, services, facilities, number of tourists, environment-friendly policies, waste management and safety standards will be taken into consideration in the selection of hotels and resorts.
