The City Police has made elaborate security arrangements for the Maha Nimajjana Shobhayatra to be held on 25th of this month in Hyderabad. While 20,000 policemen have been prepared for security, 8,142 officers and staff will come from other districts. 42 platoons will be assigned to seven zones and 4 RAF and 2 CRPF companies will be deployed. 53 BD teams will also be on duty for inspections.
The procession will be monitored with 10 thousand CC cameras and 24 state-of-the-art drones. Up to 100 high-rise cameras have been installed on the main roads. Besides the command control center, special control rooms have been set up at NTR Marg, Necklace Road and People's Plaza. Route checks from Balapur to Hussainsagar have been completed.Repairs of roads, removal of electric wires and cutting of tree branches have also been completed.
The immersion of 32,878 idols has been completed so far, 2,161 idols have been immersed in the last 24 hours. Khairatabad Bada Ganesh was visited by 25 lakh people and Balapur Ganesh by 15 lakh people. Special security will be provided keeping in mind the traffic in these areas.
