At the 4th edition of the International Strategic Engagement Program (IN-STEP) held at Vice President Bhavan, Vice President of India C.P. Radhakrishnan spoke. This prestigious program is jointly organized by India's Ministry of External Affairs, Ministry of Defense and National Security Council Secretariat (NSCS) under the auspices of the National Defense College (NDC).
The Vice President extended a warm welcome to 25 international delegates from 22 developing countries of the Global South. He addressed the rapidly changing global technological revolution, artificial intelligence (AI), cyberspace, energy and maritime security, climate change, emerging issues on international supply chains.He suggested that no single country can face such complex problems alone, and all the countries of the Global South should cooperate with each other. He urged the international delegates to "think globally...partner strategically...act unitedly".
