A five-storey building suddenly collapsed in Seemapuri area of North East Delhi around 3:15 pm on Wednesday. As the building collapsed in front of our eyes with a loud noise, panic broke out in the area and the locals ran from their houses to the roads. As soon as the information was received, the Delhi fire brigade, local police and disaster management teams reached the spot and accelerated the removal of debris. Immediately after the accident, the locals responded and pulled out four people, including two children, who were trapped under the debris and shifted them to the nearby Rajiv Gandhi Super Specialty Hospital for treatment.However, around six people from the same family, along with the owner of the building, are still believed to be trapped under the rubble. Rescue workers are working hard to save them safely.
