In the past, liver problems were mainly seen in alcoholics. Now due to food habits and modern lifestyle errors, they are increasing exponentially in the common people as well. Studies have shown that obesity, diabetes, and hypertension contribute to the prevalence of metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH/MASLD).
About 16 to 32 percent of the population of India is suffering from fatty liver problem, and this menace is more than 35 percent even in children, which is a matter of great concern. Doctors suggest that reducing junk food, adding fresh vegetables and greens to the diet and exercising regularly can prevent these liver diseases.
