A key development has taken place towards the establishment of an airport in Bhadradri Kothagudem district. The state minister disclosed this after a meeting with the Union Civil Aviation Department. A central technical team will visit the district on September 7 to examine the new alternative areas in place of the previously examined areas. The report will examine the geographical conditions, weather and technical aspects. The central government is likely to take a further decision based on that report.
