Abhyudhayam: Senior journalists have submitted a petition along with mandal revenue officer Ashok Kumar, seeking to conduct the process of allotment of houses and house plots to journalists in Kukatpally mandal area.

Speaking on this occasion, the journalists asked that the allotment should be done in a transparent manner after conducting a comprehensive investigation at the field level, taking into account the eligibility, seniority and actual conditions in allotment of houses. He appealed to take steps to ensure justice to the deserving journalists free from any political, personal or other influence.

He said that he will meet with the Medchal-Malkajigiri district collector on Monday and submit a petition on the same matter.

Based on seniority: MROMRO Ashok Kumar, who received the petition, responded. He assured that steps will be taken to carry out the process in a transparent and impartial manner taking into consideration the eligibility, seniority and field level facts. It has been mentioned that relevant issues will be looked into so that justice can be done to the deserving journalists.
