In continuation of previous discussions with Transport Department and TGSRTC, a trial run was conducted to examine the feasibility of establishing a separate bus lane from KPHB to Waverock. The aim of this proposal is to reduce traffic congestion by making buses of TGSRTC and IT companies run faster during peak hours.
Traffic flow, road capacity, necessary aspects for implementation of special bus route were examined together with road and city planning experts. It has also been assessed whether buses travel with fewer stops to enable faster travel.
The movement of vehicles on the JNTU-Biodiversity corridor during peak hours was examined and the possibilities of reducing the traffic pressure on that route were also studied in a trial run.Cyberabad Traffic Joint Commissioner Mr. Sanpreet Singh, IPS; Traffic-II DCP Mrs. Seshadrini Reddy, IPS; TGSRTC ED Sridhar; SCSC CEO Shri Naveed Alam Khan along with other officers and representatives of concerned departments participated.
