Minister of Water Resources Department Nimmala Ramanaidu said that an advance plan is being made to prevent the problem of drinking water in Visakhapatnam city. He said that the water reserves available in Eleru, Kaniti and Raiwada reservoirs have been reviewed. If necessary, arrangements will be made to move water through lift schemes, pipelines and pumps. It has been explained that measures are being taken to achieve a balance between cultivation needs, industrial needs and the city's drinking water demand.
