Kadiri:
On the occasion of India's 80th Independence Day celebrations, a miraculous moment unfolded in Kadiri town as part of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' call. Local public representatives and officials started the 1000 feet huge tricolor flag rally jointly undertaken by the Kadiri municipal authorities and managements of various schools.
This rally which started at the NGO Home, passed through Jyoti Rao Poole Circle to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar circle was excited. Thousands of students chanted "Bharat Mataki Jai" and "Vande Mataram" and walked through the city streets carrying huge flags. This program was organized to commemorate the sacrifices of the martyrs who laid down their lives for the freedom of the country and infused the people of the town with a feeling of patriotism.
